Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present you the best game, a masterpiece of the gaming industry and just a world classic: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

And it all started like that. An unknown hero nobody woke up on a small, long -rotten prison ship, in the company of a charming Dunmer named Dzhuub. Naturally, according to the tradition of the TES series, we were a simple prisoner who, by the will of the gods, was exiled to the eastern lands of Morrowynda, to accompany the prophecy. Through these powerful branches, clever riders deftly maneuvered. The village itself called Seyd-Nin looked dilapidated and abandoned, and from this it fits perfectly into the overall atmosphere of this area. The whole earth around this little village was surrounded by swamps, but these were swamps that struck with their disgusting beauty. This could be admired for hours, and in a compartment with a wonderful soundtrack and thousands of sounds that this world was filled, everything looked just amazing and not to fall in love with this wonderful atmosphere was impossible.

Yes, another element, without which the atmosphere of Morrowyuvind would be completely alien to us, is Jeremy Soul fascinating music, consisting of 15 different tracks, each of which was true unique. Bethesda soon even published a Soundtrack disk from a game called “The Elder Scrolls III: Morrrowind Original Soundtrack”.

The race also did not just affect the character’s appearance, but also gave various bonuses like special spells inherent only in this race, for example: an Argonian could be under water for a long time, and Dunmer could not get out of the fire all days. Such a role system made it possible to increase reiigrability at times, because you always got a character completely unlike the previous one, which could not but delight the fans. I think you should not dwell on the role system in more detail, and everyone knows it very well, we better recall the old times ..

Game without borders

After choosing everything and all we were brought to the open world and the appeared plate on the screen ”Now you are on your own. Good luck ”to be honest, drove crazy. The world did not adapt to the player, as was later done in Oblivion. Only here you could cut the whole village, kill all the story characters, and not go through the main quest, but get a full set of Daedric armor from the body Tel Fira. There are many stories and everyone has their own, you can’t list everyone, but I would like.

The world was truly open and huge, very huge. In order to explore every corner, it took me at least six months. But this is not the end, each time starting again, I found something new, whether it be an ordinary fishing village or hidden treasures of ancient Vikings. And even now at the time of writing the article, I just can’t find one blade, I just can’t imagine where it can be?

The breeds tried and provided a large selection for the players. Go wherever you want, do what you want, kill someone you want, and so on … Maybe you can go to the cities of Aldrun, or to flowering forests of Balmores, lifeless traffic warders or mushroom settlements of sadri-mora, and maybe in swampy places of gnar-mok? Nothing shy you, the choice has always been yours. Well, we started with something smaller like three main guilds: magicians, thieves and warriors. They provided us with the opportunity to join the game and better recognize its mechanics and principles.

The following in line were the guilds of the imperial cult and Legion. Here we were engaged mainly by everyday affairs, such as helping citizens and collecting donations.

Well, in the last, two in my opinion the most interesting guilds are Morag Tong and the temple. In the first guild, we took contracts and killed the people we needed, as it soon became in Oblivion. We were invited to choose either to jail, or pay with gold, fight with a guard or provide special paper, which allowed us to legally eliminate this person. The system turned out to be quite simple and effective, and therefore moved to Oblivion. We were also invited to collect twenty-seven sanguine threads, if I am not mistaken exactly twenty-seven, which were scattered throughout the Mingwood and this was a truly interesting task, and even very useful since each item was well enchanted and perfectly complemented the collection of Morrolowinda artifacts, and not in some other RPG, collect twenty-seven people who have no need, completely useless equal equal equal equal equivables.figurines and get an ac. Well, the battles here were not to say interesting or exciting, no they were simply. In the near fighting, we inflicted three blows: stitching, cutting, chopping, and the game actually turned into a stupid collapse of the enemy, but all the same, there was a highlight of his own. Suppose if you take a spear, then according to the logic of things: what a blow will you apply? Naturally pricking, because at a spear he will be the best or take the same hammer: you won’t prick them? Or you will? In general, I would better chop. But magic was realized quite interestingly. To use the spell, you needed free hands and switch to them you could only one button. The special effects from them were breathtaking, even better than in the field I would say. In order not to spoil the balance, as was done in the third fable, Manu could not be restored just standing still, only with bottles or in a dream. There were many spells and this is also the fact that it was possible to create and combine your own. All of them were divided into several schools, I will not list it for a little interest, but the fact that they were very useful, unfortunately I will not say either. For the whole game, I used only two of them this walking on water and levitation. Shields and the like things were not needed at all. Maybe those who played for magicians and were useful, I do not know, for me there were enough for me so much long blades for the whole game, but these are me, and all people are different and who is closer to whom.

The centuries -old universe

I believe that the TES universe is the most worked out universe and not only because it came out in it five parts that unfolded at different times, in different provinces, but also because a lot of internal books were written. The TES universe is already a finished work, which has long been formed under the influence of multiple literature, only in Morroevan more than a hundred books were written that told not only about Morra, but also about the rest of Tamriel’s provinces, their culture, worldview, worldview. Naturally, this is a brief retelling of the plot, but in fact there is a lot of interesting things there, so do not be too lazy to go through it to the end, because in the end you will find a lot of goodies, those who have not yet passed, I can wish good luck and remember you need to enjoy every minute of the game and value every centimeter of it.

Further – a little personal experience. You launch a new game in JVK (so you decided to call this mod on the forum), go through the usual registration procedure in the office and get free. All NPS participating in the main quest are dead. The only exception was Yagrum Baggars, the last of the Dwemers. A little later, one player on the forum found a new character named Tiramas, a Danmer man in the temple near the ghostly gates. The second difference – all his phrases were accompanied by a voice, except for the usual text in the dialogue window. You may not pay attention to this, since his voice is very similar to the ordinary male voice of Danmer. Some noticed that the voice is very much different, as if it were a very high-quality imitation.

I will not go into details, but along the quest line he sends you to the dungeon with the simple name “Citadel”. No less simple were the tasks themselves – “discover the secrets of the ancients”. The entrance to the dungeon is located on a small island far to the west of Mordovond itself. In the end, I found that the use of Ikarian’s flight scroll from the extreme western point of the main earth and the jump to the west will lead you to almost the exact location of the island.

Although the dungeon is called the citadel, the corridors lead deep underground. It surpasses all other such places in size and complexity. From caves of natural origin, first you will fall into a zone similar to an ancient tomb, then – to the ruins of the Daedr and Dwemer. I managed to get to the Dwemer ruins before I went out. The creations here are very strong and dangerous even for a character of level 20, the console is not available, and your only tools are quick saving and loading. It is very easy to die here, finding himself in an impossible situation for survival. After death, I no longer had the strength to start all over again.

Those few who managed to go down below said that after Dwemer ruins you get to the level similar to the previous, but darker. Together with ordinary bronze, all surfaces and creatures acquire black color. The sounds of the mechanisms are much louder here. Also, something like a couple or fog limits your vision at a distance of about 10 feet. If you manage to survive, then you will get to the place that was called the portrait room.

Like fires in torches or other effects from the early 3D games, this room contains frames that are always turned to you, from which side you would not look. Images inside the frames are selected randomly from the “My drawings” folder. At the end of the corridor you will see a locked door. And only then one of the players (my friend from the forum) noticed that Tamriel was no longer the usual night sky above him. It was replaced by the image of a real night sky. And it changes.

Everything that I will talk about next is based on only one person. In the end, he left our forum, but I tried to keep contact with him as long as possible. According to him, the earthly sky begins to display over the character as of February 2005. If you die, load or return to the citadel – the cycle will begin again. During the day, the sky looks absolutely ordinary, but the movement continues at night. In one night it changes for about two months.

This player suggested that the door would open simultaneously with some kind of star event. Obviously, to wait, it is necessary to keep the game running, and thanks to our old friend, the assassin cannot be ignored. My friend decided to spend the whole day only to find out what exactly would happen. This happened about a year after the beginning of the movement of the sky. Here’s a message that he wrote at the end of his experiment:

“I loaded to Seida Nin, where it all started. It was not too difficult, I just had to constantly move and heal the wounds so as not to die. It was necessary to check what was there! And exactly 24 hours later the assassin did something new. He screamed loudly. I read when this crazy scream almost forced me to chase my pants. It was cooler than in the horror film! I saw him crouched right in front of me. As soon as I made movement, he ran away. I hurried into the room of portraits and saw that the door was still closed. *mat*”

Later, my friend decided that he would have to wait for three days – three years, because a personal message with advice to try Dosbox came in February 2008.

Then two more things occurred. Firstly, some players who reached the rooms of portraits claimed that the Assassin began to appear in ordinary Morovinda (I will explain that the second Morderiad folder installed in another folder will allow you to have both versions on one computer).
